Raising money for RAPt Charity was the intention, but Charlie had no idea that the generous sponsorship would take him well over his target and end up at a massive £20,000.  The original destination for the challenge was Mont Blanc, but deteriorating weather moved the climbing party over the boarder to Gran Paradiso.  Thank you to all who helped with sponsorship and encouragement.  Charlie is currently Chairman for the fund raising committee of 'The Bridges' in Hull, which is a drug and alcohol treatment centre for ex-offenders, run by RAPt (Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust) Charity.  'The Bridges' relies totally Charity funding to remain open.
