Cycling & Walking

Dedicated nature trails meander all around Hollicarrs providing quiet leisurelywalks ideal for excercising a dog.  Well maintained and private, the trails pass places of interest such as the bird hide and butterfly meadow.  If you are feeling energetic there is a 3 mile stroll to Skipwith Common Nature Reserve, site of special scientific interest and well worth a visit.

Cycles are available for hire and may be used on the nature trails or if you prefer a longer ride within approx 1/4 mile, Sustrans cycle track, click here for a full map, can be easily reached and will lead you, completely traffic free, to York or Selby.
