C-Kore welcomed 2 Deputy Lord Lieutenants of North Yorkshire, David Kerfoot MBE DL and Trevor Watson JP DL to their offices at Menagerie. Following a tour and demonstration of C-Kore’s equipment, the formal Queen’s Award presentation took place.
Reading the citation on behalf of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Trevor Watson JP DL proclaimed that “recognising the outstanding achievement demonstrated in the application of Innovation, C-Kore Systems have been given permission to fly the authorised (Queen’s) Award flag and to display the Award emblem for a period of 5 years”. The emblem has been recognised by both existing and prospective customers as a mark of distinction.
After the event David Kerfoot MBE DL, and Chairman of the Local Enterprise Partnership of North Yorkshire, commented “The one thing that really came across to me was the enthusiasm and passion of the people C-Kore employs. Everyone I spoke to was committed and importantly clearly enjoyed what they did from day to day. This is a testament to the way the company is run and shows how motivated people can really make a difference to a company’s success.”
Tim Overfield, Managing Director of C-Kore Systems commented further, “This is such a tribute to all our hard work. We have a great team who are dedicated to developing and delivering truly innovative technology to the Oil & Gas market. C-Kore products are now recognised worldwide as must have pieces of equipment to bring significant cost savings and safety improvements to any offshore campaign.”
C-Kore Systems Limited has developed a cost saving subsea measuring tool for fault finding and health checking subsea electrical networks in the oil and gas industry. The miniaturised version of surface test equipment removes the requirement for ship to device umbilical connection, improving ease of use and safety, particularly for divers. The test equipment is automated and is useable by unskilled operators and remote operated vehicles. The C-Kore system is faster than existing technologies, saving on average two ship days per deployment. This represents a significant financial saving for clients. It also enables automated testing, removing the possibility of human error, and continual monitoring over extended periods whilst submerged at depths of up to 3,000 metres. This novel solution for often hostile environments is delivering sustained growth for the company and positioning it as a leader in this field.
C-Kore have only been clients at Escrick Park for a short time and we are delighted that they are achieving such success, Charlie Forbes Adam and all at Escrick Park send their congratulations on this huge achievement, we hope you have celebrated in style!
