Escrick Park’s Diversity of Clients

By Helen Pentith  //  Tue 27th March 2018

We love the diversity that our rental workspace attracts and here at Escrick Park we have a very broad spectrum of commercial clients and all are thriving.

What type of Businesses move to Escrick Park?

From Ship Designers to Baby Massage Classes, based across our 7 small business developments, they are all establishing a good name for themselves and made their spaces individually fit their needs.

What are they looking for?

Usually clients are looking for something a bit different to the innercity working environment.  Somewhere with flexible terms, competitive rents and great customer care, easy access and parking right outside. This makes perfect sense for many businesses and is exactly what Escrick Park offers.

Long Timers

We have had some businesses who have been with us from the very start of our commercial lettings process, moving into our newly converted farm buildings some 19 years ago, how time does fly!  Our long timers are OSD-IMT Marine Consultants, VFM Associates, Tukans Ltd, IMC Toys, CGA Accountants, Phoenix Components, Jones Cooper Wealth Management, JMDA Ltd, K Sarginson Fine Furniture, Aristocats Cattery and D Fox Agricultural Engineers.  We are very pleased to have had such a long and happy working relationship with these and all our other businesses located at Escrick Park, 35 in total.

Spotlight for March

Helen Drye with her business Silver and Stone, moved into The Garth in 2015. Since then, Helen has expanded to our larger premises at our Riccall Grange site, which now gives her more scope to hold her Jewellery making workshops in comfort.

We are thrilled to see Helen’s latest designs, which are all inspired by our National Nature Reserve, Skipwith Common and a glance over these intricate pieces see the reflected beauty of the area and we think these are really pretty and individual.

Helen makes the pendant featured above using precious metal clay (PMC).  It features a moon through the trees with she has coated in 24kt Gold leaf, using a technique called Kum Boo.  Specs of dichroic frit have been added to represent the moon light through the trees.

The pendant is sold with a handmade chain featuring peridot and labradorite gemstones and a handmade clasp.

Do take a look at Helen’s Jewellery Making Courses too – ideal as an Easter Present alternative!
