Improving that Monday Morning!

By Helen Pentith  //  Wed 19th June 2019

While some of us are excited for the summer season and the activities we can look forward to, others are dreading yet another summer spent working in the city. Imagine if you could actually look forward to going into work, couldn’t wait to be in your office again and loved being in your work environment. If you relocate your office to one of the rural commercial lets at Escrick Park, you can forget about taking the bus, driving through manic streets or having to eat your lunch at your desk this summer. Instead, you could be cycling through the countryside to your office and eating by the lake at lunchtime. Tempted? Here are four more reasons to relocate your office to Escrick Park this summer...

With staff members absent, many taking their summer holidays or stricken with summer colds, the weather outside warm and the sun shining, trying to maintain momentum in the office can be difficult. Starting afresh for the summer and taking what’s left of your team to a beautiful new office in the countryside could help you to remain focused and driven, helping to motivate your team to work hard and improve morale. While not everybody likes change, working in Escrick Park surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife will feel like a holiday!

If you must spend long hours in the office when all you want to do is go outside and make the most of the beautiful weather, it can be difficult to find the inspiration you need to be productive at work. Sometimes, you just need to be placed in a new environment and surrounded by different people to be inspired, which is why both you and your employees are likely to benefit from a move to the countryside. When you’re struggling to come up with fresh and innovative ideas, why not take a walk through the woodland to get your creative juices flowing?  We have 30 existing businesses at Escrick Park who really take advantage of the outdoors and hold meetings on the picnic benches or by the lake – what could be better!

Working in the city it can be difficult to arrange staff activities, especially when everybody relies on public transport to take them home at the end of the day. By relocating your office to Escrick Park, you could introduce staff activities at lunchtime or at the end of the day when the sun is still shining during the summer and when all the activities and facilities Escrick Park has to offer are still available. You could take your employees horse riding, hiking, fishing, cycling or simply to one of the lovely countryside pubs nearby.

If you’re used to city life, relocating to the countryside will seem like a breath of fresh air. Never mind the fact that you will still be working, you’ll feel as though you’re taking a much-needed break away from the city and will have the time to recuperate from hectic life in a busy town. You’ll not have to face busy streets and endless traffic on your way home from work, but instead gorgeous sunsets, wildlife encounters and wonderful roads to travel along. You and your staff will want to work and live in the countryside forever.
