Rural Working in Yorkshire

I am sure most of you will have pondered why so many of us sit in traffic during the rush hours and how nice it would be to arrive at the workplace quickly and easily without the usual nose to tail grind.

There is an alternative and with more and more out of town and rural working opportunities now available, you have choice.  Working away from the city can really provide advantages and increase the well-being and productivity of your team.

Finding the perfect rural location

So where to start with your search? There are many internet sites that can help you locate a new workspace in the country, a Google Search may throw up a few options, but Instant Offices, Office Broker, Boxpod and Yell.com are all good starting points.

Cost Effective

Working out of town also reduces your rent and rates considerably, and more than likely, your own dedicated private parking space right outside the building.  No more jostling for that last space in the carpark and your set up costs are outweighed by rents and rates reductions achieve.

Caring Landlords

Usually rural workplaces are owned and managed privately with a well-trained and dedicated team in place to look after you and your building.  So rather than dealing with obscure Agents, who fudge your questions or take a time to return with an answer, you can make a quick phone call and know that your issue or request will be dealt with fast.

The Location

Employees, customers and suppliers will probably find navigation to your premises more simplified and arrive efficiently and quickly to your rural location.  Usually rural locations have one dedicated postcode, so satellite navigation works like a dream.  Your team may even choose to cycle to work along the country roads.  Often because of the location, walks and outdoor green space are provided for you to use during your breaks.  Sitting outside in a lovely environment to eat your lunch or taking a stroll is the perfect antidote for a busy day!

Connectivity

At last rural communities are being brought up to speed – literally, and Superfast Broadband is now connecting rural workspaces to provide a fast and efficient service for businesses.  As well at BT there are private specialist who provide connectivity such as RazorBlue and Quickline Communications to provide you with the best solution for your business.
