On Saturday 28th April, Hollicarrs Petanque Club held their first Melee to celebrate the opening of their new terrains.

The event was a great success with 41 competitors taking part. After 5 rounds of competition the winner was Richard Farnaby from Bridlington Petanque, in 2nd place was Hollicarrs legend David Palmer and 3rd was our international visitor, Dag Nygaard from Norway.

All the visitors who played at Hollicarrs for the first time said what a great a venue Hollicarrs is for a competition and can not wait for the next one!

A big thank you to everyone who attended and played in the right spirit to ensure it was an enjoyable day.
