Woodland Pigs

Woodland Pigs grazing noxious weeds in our woodlands. Riders, please do not be alarmed, we are re-routing the ride around this area so you do not come into contact. There is even a new hacking lane home over a grassy paddock rather then the rather long stoney road out.

The woodlands are being overrun with noxious weeds and some invasive plants such as bracken and Himalayan Balsam.  Rather than using strong chemicals to spray this, we have taken the option of an organic alternative and grazing pigs on these areas, with animals fenced in large holding pens.

The pigs will be rotated regularly and we will post on our Facebook page @EscrickParkRideways, or we will add to this Latest New on the website.  We will always try to re-route the riding routes to avoid.  Please just follow the Green Arrows as normal.

This pig addition is for the summer months only.
