BNG UNITS
Escrick Park Estate provides BNG Units from North Yorkshire LPA and LNRS, and the Humberhead Levels NCA to developers and investors across the country.
All units are secured under a Conservation Covenant overseen by an independent Responsible Body guaranteeing the creation, management and monitoring of the habitats for a minimum of 30 years.
Monitoring of the habitats is explicit within the Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan (HMMP) to ensure that what has been agreed is delivered and maintained.
Escrick Park Estate provides a clean break for the developer with the assurances that the units you purchase are secure, will deliver what you need and that your investment is protected for the term of the agreement.

How much do units cost?
Our pricing is extremely competitive. Unlike our investment-backed competitors, we do not need to pay rent, acquire land or delivered a specified rate of return. BNG Unit prices will vary based on the unit habitat type, the quantity and the payment terms so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

EXPERTISE AND INTEGRITY
In Skipwith at the southern end of the Estate we are restoring nature across landscapes which are meaningful. We have developed this project around what is ecologically best, not what delivers the highest BNG unit yield. Buyers can be confident they are investing in a high integrity, landscape scale project both in terms of the area of habitat creation but also because it sits adjacent to, and provides a buffer for, Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation.
Our specialist in-house team have extensive experience in habitat creation, restoration and maintenance delivering at scale and to the highest standards.
The HMMP delivers the minimum effective monitoring programme but here at Escrick Park Estate we build upon these monitoring targets using additional monitoring techniques to develop an even more robust set of data to evidence the significant increase in habitat quality and species distribution and abundance. This approach allows us to be both reactive and proactive when we are managing the habitats providing us with early indications of potential improvements required whilst at the same time indicating where we can make additional biodiversity gains.
