An excellent service from start to finish.  Shane from Sales couldn't have been more helpful, ensuring my purchase of a lodge was as smooth as possible.  The park itself is wonderful. The office, maintenance team and all at Rideways are always efficient and pleasant to deal with.

Hollicarrs is a life changing experience away from our busy life's. The relaxation and wildlife is next to none. The environment is kept clean and well maintained to very high standards.

There are pleasant walks all over Skipworth Common and a fishing pond in secluded area. Our lodge is furnished to a high standard throughout in the perfect setting.

The team at hollicarrs are at hand at all time. The sales team was at hand from start to finish in purchasing our perfect lodge and nothing was too much trouble

I originally saw a beautiful lodge on a property website and never thought that I would be lucky enough to have the chance to have a holiday lodge here too. My Mum made it happen with assistance and guidance from Shane. I am happy because  it is such a peaceful and lovely environment. I have to have a hip replacement, although I am still young-ishJ , and Hollicarrs seemed to be the perfect place to recover.  It has pathways through the woods, lots of bluebells and wildlife, a lake and a big emphasis on protecting and conserving the natural environment.

We arranged to meet Shane for the handover of the lodge and it was lovely. We were presented with a really nice bouquet of flowers and I was especially impressed with the welcome pack, which contained environmentally friendly products. Shane was professional and friendly and also very patientJ

The office on site is also very welcoming and within the office, you can also seek advice and information from there too.

"For us the Hollicarrs was a deliberate lifestyle choice. The woodland setting and relaxed atmosphere offer a great escape from the rush and bustle of our busy lives. It's just a year since we first visted the Hollicarrs, so we have seen it in every season and we cannot decide which one we like the best!"

Mr & Mrs Oxley

Our journey started mid 2016 when we were tempted to buy a lodge at Hollicarrs, having visited playing pétanque and know a number of owners there. This is when we first met Shane and Steve, he was very friendly and helpful. Ongoing we then decided to put buying a lodge on hold but Shane was very understanding.

So fast forward to January 2017 when we saw lodges on the website, in the meantime we had visited Hollicarrs a few times to visit friends who where all so positive about the place. All of their comments emphasised what we had already seen, peaceful environment, lovely scenery lots of nice people and lots of activity. Thus we re-encountered Shane and Steve. Again Shane in particular was very helpful showing us various lodges available.

We where unsure and so whilst on holiday in Tenerife we messaged Shane for more information, sizes, costs, sheds, decking extensions, nothing was too much trouble for Shane. On return we soon placed a deposit on a maple lodge - already on site and show lodge. We wanted to change a few things, furniture, carpet not suitable, light fittings etc. Not a problem for Shane and Steve.

Soon after was when we then met Dawn and Lisa in reception and later the ground staff and wardens. Everyone of the staff were so very helpful and made settling in so straight forward. Throughout the journey we have received detailed information concerning the purchase of a holiday Lodge and the benefits of Hollicarrs. Everything we have been told has been spot on.

Our lasting memory is of Shane arriving at our lodge armed with a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of bubbly.

Thanks to all the team, and our friends old and new at Hollicarrs

Mr and Mrs Shackelton
"We fell in love with Hollicarrs the day we went to find a Holiday Home. How can anyone not like it. The setting is beautiful, especially now as Spring bursts into life. Everything is really well kept. We have wandered around the woods and the fishing pond, the walks around the Park are lovely. We love exploring and have found some wonderful old trees, insect hives and a bird wathcing area. When we get the chance to be outside, we often here the Woodpecker, see the many species of birds and plantlife. On arriving at the Park, we always feel like this is home.
In our opinion, there is nowhere more beautiful to own a Holiday Home.
Shane, the sales representative, was very helpful and informative. Taking us all around the Park, showing us all the Lodges that could be available in the future. Therefore helping us to make the right decision. He is a very personable young man and nothing is too much trouble for him.
We also find that Dawn and Lisa in the office are very friendly and helpful, keeping us Holiday Home Owners on our toes (in the nicest possible way). All the ground staff are friendly and always wave or stop to chat.
We find the Lodges comfortable, warm and the perfect, peaceful setting for a Holiday Home.

Derek and I just want to say a big thank you to all those involved in our recent upgrade from a holiday caravan to a timber lodge.

What could of been a really stressful tense time was made so much easier by thoughtful, patient staff at Hollicarrs and Coastline Leisure. Our particular gratitude is given to Shane, who without doubt took time and care to make sure that what we were looking for was attained over and above our expectations. His polite, professional and caring manner was given to us during the whole process, from moving our old van to siting our holiday lodge with utmost care and attention.

We are now looking forward to spending time here, whenever possible, to enjoy our lodge and surroundings.

Thank you all.

Mr & Mrs Dart - Wetherby
The first time we visited Hollicarrs we were struck by the beauty and the atmosphere - it's a perfect marriage between the bustle and culture of historic York and the serenity and nature of a woodlnd setting.
The site at Hollicarrs offers a wide variety of activiities, ranging from walking or cycling along the many nature trails (ideal for studying the wildlife or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet), to flat green bowling, boules or tennis.
We have owned a lodge here for three years now and everytime we travel down the drive the magic kicks in and we just grin from ear to ear.
