How long does the park open for through the year?
The park is open all year. Please note that the park is licensed as a holiday
park and cannot be used as a permanent residential home.
Is there private fishing nearby?
A well stocked fishing lake created in the wood is only a short walk from the
Park area. Disabled facilities are provided.
Is there a Golf Course I can use?
At the local village of Wheldrake, Swallow Hall Golf course can offer day
membership of the 18 hole golf course. Other courses are sited at Fulford and
Bubwith.
Is car parking provided?
Car parking is available outside each holiday home site for one car with extra
parking on the park.
Can I hire bicycles?
Yes, bike hire is available from the site, with a full recovery service
provided. Helmets are also provided.
Are there nature walks on site?
Nature trails and cycle paths provide miles of enjoyment. Ideal for walking your
dog or just fresh air and exercise. The paths and trails link to Skipwith Common
Nature Reserve and the village of Escrick. Also the Subtrans cycle route is only
half a mile from the park, this provides direct traffic free access to York.
Do I have a choice of holiday homes to purchase?
We have demonstration lodges on site for viewing, we can also direct you to
several manufacturers to view further models.
Can I have decking or storage boxes?
Decking and skirting is all included in the price. Storage Boxes are available at an extra cost, and must be approved by park management
Can I bring my pets?
Dog owners may bring their pets to The Hollicarrs but they must be kept on a short lead and cleaned up after. Dogs must not cause a noise nuisance to other
residents. Maximum number of dogs per lodge is 2.
What sports facilities are there?
A tennis court, bowling green and boules court all for the exclusive use of Hollicarrs guests.
Can my friends and family use my holiday home, and can I sub-let?
Friends and family can use your holiday home with prior approval.
Sub-letting is allowed on our new Lawley development only.
Is there a shop available?
Reception stocks a small range of environmentally friendly cleaning products. Riccall villages supply shops and
post offices. Large supermarkets are based in Selby and York who will also
supply doorstep deliveries.
What are the services provided to the site?
Metered LPG and electricity. A full sewage and treatment plant is in
place. There are telephone landlines to our Harts Nook development only. Wireless internet connection is available at an additional cost to lodges and holiday homes on Wenlock and Lawley.
How long can I keep my holiday home on site for?
If you purchase a timber clad lodge, for 30 years; a timber lodge, for as long as 99. Pitch fees will be charged annually.
What are the pitch fees?
The pitch fees for 2023/2024 start at £3978 per annum for a single pitch and go up to £5182 per
annum for a lodge on our prestigious Harts Nook and Lawley developments. This includes business rates, and utility administration costs. After the first payment pitch fees are payable in advance at the beginning of March and are reviewed annually.
