Woodmeadow Trust

Three Hagges Wood-Meadow has been designed to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee year.

It will also provide permissive walks for the local community as well as Hollicarrs owners.

Set in nine hectares, the first ancient oak was planted by Persimmon Homes, a major sponsor of this woodland, on Sunday 2nd December.  Together with local residents, Parish Councillors and representatives, lodge owners, friends and colleagues, gathered together in bright sunshine to undertake the task of planting up the first phase of the woodland.

The woodland has been pioneered by Rosalind Forbes Adam, wife of Charles, owner of the Estate, and their son Beilby, who is 25 years old.

Mrs Forbes Adam's goal is to create a beautiful woodland for the community to enjoy which will feature grassy rides and meandering pathways. A wide range of native and wild flowers has been selected to attract a diversity of wildlife.
