Skipwith Hall

Skipwith Hall started life as a Jacobean farmhouse.  It took shape as a Queen Anne ‘manor house’ for the parish of Skipwith around 1700 when the medieval moated manor opposite the church fell into disuse.

Skipwith Hall is now the home of Charlie and Rosalind Forbes Adam, current owners and proprietors of Escrick Park Estate. The gardens have been carefully re-created and the kitchen garden landscaped and maintained to still provide the house with essential vegetables but also has flower boarders bursting with colour and beauty.

Skipwith Hall Gardens is also one of our wedding marquee venues please click here for details.
